La celebración de la Resurrección de Jesús, la Pascua cristiana, es la mayor de nuestras fiestas. Es lógico que se compusiesen piezas musicales grandiosas para celebrarla. Entre todas ellas destaca el «Aleluya» del «Mesías» de Haendel. La interpretación de esta pieza fue realizada por la Johann Strauss Orchestra y el Harlem Gospel Choir dirigidos por Andre Rieu para «Live From Radio City Music Hall» de Nueva York, el año 2004.
